Marathon and Key Colony Vacation Rental Properties
The Cities of Marathon and Key Colony Beach are unique investment opportunities here in the Florida Keys! Every other Key has a 28 day minimum rental restriction in Monroe County, while these two cities incorporated long ago, and created their own vacation rental rules. As such, both these cities allow minimum 7 day rentals for single family, duplex, half duplex, and multi family homes!
Marathon is a super popular vacation rental destination. It is family friendly, has an abundance of restaurants and bars, and fun things to do for everyone! Most activities are based on having fun on the water, drawing large numbers of tourists. Vacation rental properties here are in high demand to both purchase and rent!
Condos and townhomes have their own rules, so short term rentals for condos and townhomes in these two cities are property specific.
Whenever buyers are interested in the Middle Keys, we also include the waterfront condos and townhomes in Duck Key, which can be part or Hawks Cay resort management, or managed independently. These properties can allow as little as 1 day rentals, as can Coral Lagoon Resort, Key Harbor condos, Tranquility Bay, and the Continental Inn in Marathon.
